FRONT 9
HOLE 1 (par 4)
Long challenging hole with a variety of trees down the left side of the fairway.Wide landing area to play approach shot to the green which is guarded by a bunker short and right to the green. Another demanding hole requires a strong drive up the right, opening up the green. The bunker is well short of the green making the approach look deceptively short.
|
HOLE 2 (par 3)
HOLE 3 (par 4)
Two palm trees left and a Macrocarpa right will catch any wayward drives. The green has a pot bunker on the right and mounds and OB on the left. A great dog leg par 4, take on the right to left drive if you succeed a straightforward pitch awaits you. Another option is to take a shorter club to the corner and you will be left with a mid iron to the green, this can bring the out of bounds to the left of the green into play on the approach.
|
hole 4 (par 4)
This challenging hole has everything except a bunker. Long Par 4 for the men with OB to the right and also behind the green. Requires two very good shots. The longest par 4 on the course demands a good drive up the left side, and once again more club for the approach as the hollow in front of the green visually traps players.
|
hole 5 (par 3)
hole 6 (par 5)
Reachable in two for the big hitters. This hole has OB to the right and large gum trees on the left. Two tiered green is protected by two bunkers left and right and OB very close behind the green. Time to let fly! A strong drive up the left will set up a great birdie chance. Distance control on the approach is critical being a two tiered narrow green.
|
hole 7 (par 5)
hole 8 (par 4)
hole 9 (par 4)
Difficult Par 4 when the sea breeze is blowing. Green is protected by two bunkers left and right short of the green and OB to the right. A demanding hole off the tee with a long left to right tee shot (from the blues) still leaving you a tough approach with two bunkers short and out of bounds to the right of the green.
|
BACK 9
HOLE 10 (par 4)
Straight forward Par 4 with large trees on the left of the fairway.Nice wide fairway to aim for.Large green protected by a mound front left and a bunker front right. Aim your tee shot up the left side of the fairway opening up the green for a great look at the flag, keeping your approach short of the flag.
|
HOLE 11 (par 3)
Hole 12 (par 4)
HOLE 13 (par 5)
A long challenging Par 5, especially with the sea breeze into you. This hole has groves of trees and OB on the left and trees on the right. Green has a false front with bunkers guarding both sides. A three shot par 5, demands accuracy and distance control as out of bounds runs up the left and tree up the right the green sloping dramatically from back to front.
|
HOLE 14 (par 4)
HOLE 15 (par 4)
Two fairway bunkers to the right and mound on the left to avoid.Longest green on the course with a deep faced bunker on the left hand side. Use the Pro’s advice for your second shot as this can easily be a three putt green. Not the longest hole but it demands accuracy off the tee, up the right side of the fairway followed by an approach shot that attention to the pin placement as there is 3-4 club length difference between the front And back of the green.
|
hole 16 (par 3)
Classed as our signature hole. Three large palm trees are the background to this hole, the longest of the par 3’s. Large bunker on the right and a green surround that drops sharply to the left makes this a great Par 3. The most demanding par 3 on the course, with the length playing a big part, the raised green and the bunker on the right requires pin point accuracy.
|
hole 17 (par 4)
Short Par 4 with trees both sides of the fairway to catch the short and wayward drive. Fairway bunker on the right appx 70m from the green and mounds and swales to the left. The green has a bunker either side and OB is not far behind. Downwind a reachable par 4 off the tee, but the green sits behind an intruding tree and a bunker. A laid up tee shot still only leaves you a short approach.
|
hole 18 (par 5)
Trees and OB guard the left side of the fairway.A fairway bunker is set about 50m from what is the largest green on the course. OB behind and a bunker front right. Finish off on a High! Long hitters will reach in two, but don’t get complacent with out of bounds down the left and a two tiered green will require your round to be finished off.
